Over a two week period members of Purple Cub Pack visited Tesco Rawtenstall to take part in their Farm to Fork Programme.

Farm to Fork Trails are designed to get children closer to the food they eat.

Before the tour commenced the Cubs were kitted out in special tabards and given clipboards with information sheets to be completed as they visited the various departments.

Holding a fish and a kidney seemed to cause the biggest amusement to the visiting Pack.  Samples of cheese and fruit also went down well with the ever hungry youngsters.

Through the Tesco partnership with The Scout Association, each member earned a partner badge after completing their food adventure.
