A Beaver Scout (Rita), Cub Scout (Matilda) and a Scout (Ashley) kindly volunteered to take part in a service at St. Nicholas Church, Newchurch to welcome the new mayor of Rossendale Councillor Colin Crawforth.
The smartly presented members of the Group did a brilliant job or reading prayers to the assembled congregation which included mayors from other boroughs and was presided over by The Reverend Penny King.
Their hard work was rewarded afterwards with cake, biscuits and a drink.
Thank you to all three of them who were fantastic ambassadors for the Group.
