Over 30 members of Purple Troop met up at Bowley Scout Campsite for another fun weekend! With the main attraction being the quad bikes, the Scouts also took on the ‘Leap of Faith’ too!
The Scouts arrived to a dark and windy field and their first challenge was to pitch their tents! With some great teamwork everyone successfully pitched their tents and the camp could begin – after a slice of cake, of course!
Throughout the weekend the Scouts made paracord bracelets, prepared meals, learned how we keep a campsite clean and tidy as well as keeping the fire going! They all did an excellent job!
Purple Scouts have given ideas of things they’d like to do on the next camp but for now, it’s a thumbs up!
