Purple Pack spent a chilly weekend at the Warren at their Christmas themed camp.

They began by pitching their tents before playing games on the local recreation ground.

Afterwards they took part in Christmas activities including decorating the Warren, icing gingerbread trees, personalising stockings and making paper snowflakes.

In the late afternoon the Cubs walked into Rawtenstall to watch the Christmas light switch on before returning to the Warren to enjoy Christmas dinner with crackers!

The evening ended by watching Frozen and then the Cubs got cosy in their tents for the night.

For some the sub-zero temperatures were a little too much and they returned to the warmth of the indoors, followed in the morning by some other earlier escapes!

When everyone was awake the Cubs came in for breakfast to see Santa had been and filled their stockings! Everyone opened their early Christmas presents.

The rest of the camp was filled with taking tents down and a scavenger hunt around the area.

It was a brilliant weekend and thank you especially to our Young Leaders and Leaders who made the camp so special for everyone involved.
