If you are one of our feathered friends or a poor child in a far off country, be sure that Purple Pack would be eager to help something or someone in need.
The proof of this could be seen one October evening when working in teams the Cubs could be found building bird boxes and filling shoe boxes for Rotary international.

The week before the Cubs had sat through an interesting and enjoyable presentation by Rotary on their organisation and how the shoeboxes would be distributed to less fortunate children in Romania.  They were asked to bring in items to include toys, toiletries, educational items or household goods.

The Cubs managed to fill 30-boxes which were greatly received by Rotary International.  These will join approximately 100,000 from across the country that will make a huge difference to a less well off child.
