Filling our new planters was the task given to Purple Colony Beavers as part of their Gardener Activity Badge.

Scented seeds, geraniums, herbs, hardy shrubs and strawberries make up the collection of plants that the Beavers will monitor the growing of.  There will also be an inter-Lodge sunflower growing competition.

As well as planting the Beavers have been learning about how to use gardening tools safely, the four seasons and what a plant needs to grow.

We look forward to seeing the planters develop over the next few months.
