Working towards their Astronomer Activity Badge, Grey Pack Cubs visited the Todmorden Astronomy Centre.

A very foggy night was to greet the Cubs but that did not distract from the excitement of the occasion.

The Cubs were given a presentation which showed them how to identify constellations, the difference between a planet and a star, how to safely view the sun (using a cereal packet!) and a description of different type of telescopes including radio versions.

With many thanks to Andy and Peter for a fabulous and interesting evening.
