Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts from the 38th joined around 2000 other Scouters from across East Lancashire for the County Rally at Bowley Scout Camp Site.

The highlight of the weekend was a visit by Chief Scout Bear Grylls who flew-in to thrill the gathered crowds.

Extremely wet weather did not dampen the spirits as everyone took the atrocious conditions in their stride.

A variety of activities were available for the young members over the weekend.  All took home a commemorative badge and neckerchief to mark the occasion.
