 | Following on from their success as winners of the Rossendale District Akela Trophy, our team of six Cubs travelled to Bowley Scout Camp Site near Great Harwood to take part in the County Cub Skills Competition. Ten teams from across the County took part and our members came second! |
| The standard of the teams was very high as all the competitors were winners or runners up in their District competitions. Activities included fire-lighting, tracking, pioneering, map & compass, first aid and a fun base! Akela said she was absolutely thrilled at the achievement and wanted to say a big WELL DONE to all of them! | |
