Grey and Purple Beaver Colonies competed in the Rossendale District Akeema Shield competition.
Congratulations to the 43rd Rossendale who were the overall winners with Grey Colony just behind in the runner-up place.
Purple Colony who won for the past three years, were positioned in the bottom three places.
The Beavers were tested in different skills over six bases consisting of Archery, the Elephant Donut Pickup Game, a Twister memory game, a Hockey Slalom, a ball transfer game consisting of short lengths of cardboard tubing and a Box and Broom Relay.
Well, done to everyone who took part. They all did their very best.
