35 Beavers travelled to Bowley Scout camp site to celebrate the centenary of Scouting in Rossendale.  The district had laid on a number of activities for the Beavers to take part in.

Popular were the bouncy castles and grass sledges, whilst some braved the water by rafting and water sliding.  Budding Robin Hood’s tackled the archery and some brave Beavers the 120-metre zip wire.

The Warren was host to the Purple colony Beavers for the Friday evening whilst Grey colony had their chance on the Saturday night.  Here they took part in a mini-Olympics competition and made silhouette image of themselves in a decorated picture frame as a souvenir for the weekend.
