Jam jars in hand and no stone unturned the bugs did not have a chance with our intrepid Beaver Scouts explorers.

The Beavers visited the former Groundwork site in Rawtenstall in the search of creepy crawlies.  The star catch was a baby toad by the Grey Colony.

Purple colony were less fortunate with the weather as it started to rain at the end of the session, however a lucky chance meeting with two owl handlers provided entertainment for the rest of the evening.

All the bugs were released and all the Beavers in attendance will gain their Explore Activity badge.
