Thank you to the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts that took part in the Annual St. George’s Day Parade.
In a change of venue, this year the parade took place in Stubbylee Park, Bacup.
Once assembled, there was a procession around the perimeter of the Park, before assembling once again for the renewal of the Promises and presentation of the Awards.
The parade is held annually to celebrate St. George the Patron Saint of England and of Scouting and to celebrate our founder, Lord Baden-Powell.
Congratulation to the Members who received their Chief Scout Awards and the two Explorer Scout Young Leaders who received their Young Leader Belts.
