Rossendale District Cub Scout Akela Trophy

Following on from the recent success of the Beavers in the District Akeema Shield competition, Purple Cub Scout Pack won the District Akela Trophy.

Seven teams from around Rossendale entered the competition and were marked on their skills and teamwork at fire lighting, map & compass, pioneering, putting up a tent, ingenuity, tracking and first aid.

The six members of the 38th worked well together and accumulated the most points to win the competition for the Group for the second year running.  Grey pack with three members came fourth.  Well done to all!
