Rossendale District Beavers Akeema Shield

	Congratulations to Grey Beaver Colony for winning the Rossendale District Beaver Scout Akeema Shield Competition. Purple Colony were in third place. A total of seven teams took part in the event.
The Beavers were tested on eight activities which included Egg & Spoon, Box & Broom, a Space Hopper relay, “Cork Fishing” and Skipping. Initial three minute rounds were followed by a repeat of all activities for a two minute round after the refreshment break. Everyone worked really hard and had a fantastic afternoon.
