| A fantastic long weekend was had by the 11 Explorer Scouts who went to LEGSjam. A jamboree for the East Lancashire Scouts and Guides. Activities included a live band, total wipe-out style inflatables, a barbecue, shooting, climbing, tomahawk throwing, archery, a silent disco, laser quest, giant hungry hippos and a huge campfire sing-a-long. The Explorers were self-sufficient for the weekend, preparing their own food (although several were spotted at the burger bar!). It was non-stop fun from first thing Friday evening until the departure on the Monday afternoon. The Seat Naze Explorers were highly visible all weekend, firstly because of their new bright pink hoodies and secondly for the excellent attitude, effort and fun that they spread around the campsite. The event will run again on the first bank holiday of May 2016. It is hoped that there will be an even bigger number of Young People in attendance.
