Around 90 people made up of Beavers, Cubs and Scouts from Groups around the Valley with their families enjoyed a walk to Waugh’s Well nestled above the hills in Rossendale.

The walk was organised to celebrate the Centenary of Scouting in Rossendale.

With start points in Edenfield, Rawtenstall and Stacksteads the three groups all arrived within 15 minutes of each other.

Everyone brought along a picnic and took in the magnificent views that inspired the poet Edwin Waugh.
