Making the most of the Centenary of Cub Scouts, members of Grey & Purple Packs came together for an evening of celebration. The headquarters felt much smaller than usual as just short of 60 Cubs attended to mark this special occasion.
Starting the evening with the traditional “Grand Howl” the Cubs were split into four groups to take part in making Easter nests, craftwork, campcraft activities such as fire lighting & cooking bannocks over an open fire and games. Every twenty minutes of so the groups rotated. No evening would be complete without some campfire songs lead by Purple Pack Akela.
Following on from the cutting of the birthday cake, everyone made their way back inside the headquarters and dismissal before heading home after a thoroughly enjoyable evening. For more photos from the evening view our Facebook Album.
