Members of the Group were pleased to see a welcome return of the Christmas Experience at the Bowley International Scout Campsite.
This was an opportunity for our new Squirrel Scouts to have their first meeting away from our headquarters.
15 Squirrels and 45 Beavers visited the event over 3-days of the week.
Each of them had the opportunity to colour in a picture for Santa, had a snowball fight with Olaf, made a Christingle, posted Santa a letter in the Post Office, played games with the Elf’s decorated a Gingerbread Tree with Mrs Christmas, met Rudolph in his Stable and finally got to meet Santa.
The volunteers at Bowley should be commended for putting this event on and for bringing joy to in the region of 800 young people over the course of the week.
