The Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May saw a first for the Group when our three Scout Troops came together for the first time on camp.

Grey, Purple and Red Troop assembled at the Bowley Scout Camp site near Great Harwood for a weekend of fun which started with the pitching of their tents followed by supper and a relaxed period of settling in ready for a busy series of activities to follow on the Saturday and the Sunday.

Following breakfast and flag-break the Scouts were split into three groups ready for the days activities which consisted of rafting, Jacobs ladder, fire lighting, problem solving, wood carving and a bush-tucker trial.

Everyone was ready for their barbeque tea prior to the campfire on the Saturday evening.  Everyone settling down in their tents not long after 11:00 pm.

Following the striking of camp, Sundays activities included quad biking, leap of faith and paracording.

Everyone left camp with a smile on their face having had a fabulous weekend, the three Troops mixing well.

Our Facebook Album and also our SmugMug Album contains more photos from the weekend.
