| Bowley Scout Camp Site near Great Harwood was the venue for our Summer Camp. Beavers, Cubs and Explorer Scouts joined together for a weekend of activities. An evening hike on the Friday was rewarded with a tray of chips followed by hot chocolate and bed. Other activities over the weekend included Rafting, Grass Sledging, Geocaching, Survival Training and Archery. A campfire on the Saturday evening found our young members in fine voice before calming down for the evening by watching a film. A Scouts Own service was held on the Sunday morning followed by more activities, a full Sunday lunch and a final water slide activity to round of the camp before packing up and an awards ceremony. Everyone left camp tired but full of memories from a fantastic weekend. | ||
