| Congratulations to Purple Beaver Colony on winning the Rossendale District Akeema Shield Competition. Grey Colony were commended for doing their best. Four other teams representing the 5th, 21st, 40th and 45th Rossendale competed against each other in a variety of challenging events – the Twister Memory Game, Box and Broom, ball along the tube challenge, Archery, Skipping and Hockey. Two complete rounds were completed before the winners were announced.
