Ten Scouts from the 38th Rossendale competed against 7 other teams from the Rossendale District in the Baden Powell Trophy Competition at the Bowley Scout Campsite.
They were tasked with several activities including pioneering to make a catapult, making pancakes with ingredients but no instructions, a marble track challenge (how quick could the marble travel from the beginning to the end), a series of puzzles, fire lighting, painting a mural, first aid, packing a rucksack and putting up a tent blind folded.
They finished in 7th place but should be commended on their team play and commitment to the tasks.
Well done to everyone for taking part and congratulations to the 43rd Rossendale who were the overall winners.
