Over 100 Members of the Group came together on Sunday 28th April 2019 to celebrate St. Georges Day.
Forming up in Whitaker Park, Rawtenstall, the Scouters proudly marched to St. Mary’s Church where a lively service was held for Leaders, Young People and their parents.
Following the renewal of the Promises, the highlight for most was the presentation of the Chief Scout Awards with Beavers receiving their Bronze, Cubs their Silver, Scouts their Gold and Explorer Scouts their Platinum Award. Many congratulations to them all.
Tim Feather was presented his Scout Leader Wood Badge and Harry Ward was presented his Medal of Merit. Well-deserved for both of them.
