For the third consecutive year Purple Colony Beavers won the Rossendale District Akeema Shield Competition.
Competing against seven other teams including our own Grey Colony Beavers who were runners-up, everyone worked hard at the challenges presented to them.
They were set a series of 8 challenges consisting of Box & Broom Relay, a Twister Memory Game, Archery, Ball Skills, Elephant Donut Challenge, a Bean Bag throwing game and a Hockey Slalom and a First Aid Station working towards their Emergency Aid Activity Badge.
Beavers from both Colonies should be complimented on their good behaviour and their commitment to doing their best for their team.
