Hebden Hey Scout Camp near Hebden Bridge was the venue for the annual Purple Pack Camp.

29 young members arrived at the Camp Site on the Friday evening.  Due to poor weather conditions activities were restricted to indoors but this did not stop the fun.

Saturday brought sunshine so the morning was spent in four bases – putting up a tent, den building, tracking and fun games.

After lunch the Pack took an extended walk due to the swollen river to Gibson Mill on Hardcastle Crags.  Their efforts were rewarded with a handily placed ice cream van.

A relaxed evening on the Saturday was followed by a Scouts Own, a build a zoo adventure amongst the trees and then some sports activities aimed at gaining their Athletics Badge on the Sunday.

It was then time for a full Sunday roast followed by final packing and home!
