There was a definite feel of last day of term as Grey Pack finished for the Summer holidays.  Consolidating all the learning from the last few weeks Sixes competed against one another in the inaugural Hathi Challenge.

Tested in five different skills, Red Six emerged victorious in a closely fought competition after demonstrating their expertise in: Lashings; Map reading; Camp preparation; Tent pitching; and fire lighting.

Ice lollies, cake and juice added to the celebration adding to the enjoyment of the continued fine weather just a little longer.

The evening was tinged with a hint of sadness as they said goodbye to 8 of their Cubs as they move up to Scouts.  We wish you all the best in your Scouting journey.  This included all our Sixes opening the door for a new leadership come September.

Everyone has worked really hard this year, evidenced by yet more badges and several Chief Scout Awards.
