| The beginning of January saw a milestone for the 38th Rossendale, when for the first time in the Group’s history we opened a second Scout Troop. With increased demand generated by two successful Beaver Colonies and two successful Cub Packs it was inevitable that the existing Scout night would not be able to cope with the expected numbers. Eighteen members attended the first meeting made up of transfers from the Cub sections and three transferring from the existing Scout troop. Once the Section settles down, we anticipate new members joining from outside the Group. |
