 | For the 3rd year running, Purple Pack have won the Rossendale District 6-a-side Football competition. Runners up in the heats, they went on to beat the 42nd in the semi-finals and in the final recovered from being 2-0 down against the 45th to draw eventually |
| winning 3-2 in a penalty decider. Grey Pack also took part in the competition including one girl. Although they did not make it into the semi-finals they played well and they never complained or lost their cool and supported the other teams showing great sportsmanship. Well done to all that took part. |
