We marched them up the hill….and we marched them down again! The Beavers finished off their pre-Summer programme with a walk to the Scout Moor Wind Farm on the hills above Rossendale and Rochdale to achieve their Explore Activity Badge. Consisting of twenty six 100-metre high windmills, they make for an impressive sight. Producing enough energy to power 40,000 homes, the Beavers learnt how this is a clean natural source of energy. The evening was finished off with a drink and a bag of chips for all!
