		<title>Beaver Scout Sleepover!</title>

21 of our Beaver Scouts enjoyed a fun-filled 24-hour sleepover at the Bowley Scout Camp Site near Great Harwood.
Arriving  at 5 pm, the Beavers had time to settle into their dorms and explore  the area before sitting down for their tea.

		<title>Hebden Hey Cub Camp</title>

A fun packed weekend was had by all when 25 Cubs went to the Hebden Hey Scout Camp Site, near Hebden Bridge.  The weekend started on the Friday night when after unpacking the children explored the area.  A supper of pizza was followed by games before settling down for the evening.

Our annual Summer barbeque and family fun day raised approximately £575 towards our new Quartermasters store.  Burgers, hotdogs and kebabs were the order of the day with plenty of entertainment to keep everybody happy.  The Leaders who were brave enough to enter the stocks were grateful it was the hottest day of the year!  Thank [...]]]></description>

		<title>District Beaver Walk to Peel Tower</title>
		<description><![CDATA[



Over 60 Beavers from around the Rossendale Valley visited Peel Tower above the hills of Holcombe Village, near Ramsbottom.
The 128 foot (39-metre) tower, which was opened in 1852 at a cost of £1000, was built as a memorial to Sir Robert Peel, Prime Minister and founder of the modern day Police force (&#8220;Bobbies&#8221;).

		<title>Rossendale District Cub Camp</title>
		<description><![CDATA[



Friday Cub Pack attended the District Cub Camp at Bowley Scout Camp Site, Great Harwood over the weekend of the 7th May.  The theme of the weekend was pirates.
Activities included Abseiling &#38; Climbing, Rifle Shooting, Archery, Rafting and a Water Slide.
